Exit Vietnam 10 November 1970 Vung Tau Airfield
This photo of 1Pl W Coy is likely to have been taken mid-morning 25 April 1970 before marching on to the Battalion farewell parade, dacrons were rarely worn but the parade order required 'starched' uniforms with medal ribbons & personal weapons. Note that the troops are wearing two medal ribbons but the 2nd would have only been officially awarded after 6-months service, i.e. May 1970] [webmaster]

This photo of 1Pl is taken 10 November 1970 before boarding trucks for the final trip to Vung Tau airfield for the flight to Singapore.  Given the time of day this was the second repatriation flight, the first having left early morning.
